Terrain Mode (Snow, Mud, Sand) now comes standard across every AWD trim, X-Line and X-Pro models both pick up glossy black exterior trim and a redesigned radiator grille surround, and a leather-trimmed steering wheel is now standard fleet-wide. The EX also gains a new Premium Package bringing a panoramic roof and BOSE audio.

Most families do best with the EX — it's your cheapest way into the 281-hp turbo engine, with better materials and more standard tech than the S. If you want adventure styling with standard AWD too, the X-Line EX delivers that for a small premium.

Trims with the base 2.5L engine max out at 2,000 pounds. Move to a turbocharged 2.5T trim — SX or above — and, properly equipped with the towing package, you can tow up to 4,500 pounds, the same factory-standard tow prep found on the X-Pro SX Prestige.

X-Line is a styling-focused adventure package — standard AWD, Terrain Mode, and blacked-out trim — available on EX, SX, and SX Prestige. X-Pro, found only on SX Prestige, adds actual hardware: 8.2 inches of ground clearance, BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, and torque-vectoring AWD, all backed by the same 4,500-lb tow rating.
